Officially Influenced by the Porch Goose

It all started when I saw one of my friend's classroom wish lists... Being the nosey, I mean supportive friend that I am, I started to snoop, I mean shop her Amazon Wish List to see what she was wanting for her class this school year. I noticed all of these goose outfits and I thought to myself, "there is no way she got a class pet goose for her high school math classroom, that is going to be such a big distraction." I totally thought she got a REAL LIFE PET GOOSE. LIKE AN ALIVE GOOSE.

SO, like normal, I started to scroll Tik Tok and lo and behold, videos of a Porch Goose started popping up on my For You Page. I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD. and of course I was influenced immediately.

How fun would it be to have a -fake- plastic "pet" goose in your classroom that you can dress up in fun and silly outfits depending on the holiday, campus events, and weather?!

This is a sure fire way to make a math classroom less scary... like come on, who could be scared to do math when there is a goose dressed as cowboy holding a "silly goose on the loose" sign?!

I bought the goose myself and added some fun outfits to my Amazon Teacher Wish List IMMEDIATELY.

I know teachers look for ways to be fun and make their classroom environment inviting, enter porch goose! Need a job for a student? Official Goose Outfit Coordinator. Need a fun writing prompt? Enter the goose going on an adventure! The options for this goose are endless.

Of course, I could not just stop at a goose wearing fun outfits. I needed FUNNY POSTERS to have displayed next to my goose, duh!

I am going to print these at Staples and put them in some cheap-o frames from good ole Dollar Tree (dollar.25 tree?) and I am going to display them proudly next to where I am going to display my goose.
